AI is changing the way we work, communicate, and make decisions, often faster than organisations and their people can adapt.

While much of the conversation about AI focuses on technology, tools, and efficiency, the most important leadership questions remain profoundly human.

How do we lead wisely through AI? What can AI support, and what must leaders still hold?

Join Business Women Australia for an intimate, peer-led Leadership Lunch Roundtable bringing together business owners, executives, board directors, and senior professionals to explore the opportunities, challenges, and realities of leading in an AI-enabled world.

This isn't another presentation about AI tools.

It's a courageous conversation between leaders about what we're actually experiencing: what we're experimenting with, where we're seeing opportunity, what concerns us, how our organisations and people are responding, and where human judgement, responsibility, and trust must remain.

The conversation

Together we'll explore questions including:

• How are we currently using AI in our businesses, organisations, and boardrooms?

• Where is AI creating genuine opportunity, and where is the hype?

• What concerns, risks, and governance questions are emerging?

• How do we encourage curiosity and experimentation while maintaining trust?

• Where must human judgement remain central?

• What capabilities will leaders and their people need as AI becomes more embedded in the way we work?

• How do we ensure we're investing in human intelligence as well as artificial intelligence?

A Conscious Leadership Conversation

Grounded in Business Women Australia's Conscious Communication principles and the Inner Development Goals (IDGs), this roundtable invites us to practise the very capabilities increasingly required of leaders: curiosity, critical thinking, self-awareness, courage, collaboration, empathy, and discernment.

There are no expectations that you need to be an AI expert. In fact, whether you're experimenting enthusiastically, proceeding cautiously, somewhere in between, or still wondering where to begin, your perspective belongs at the table.

Our aim is to harness the wisdom in the room, learning from the experiences and perspectives of other leaders rather than assuming anyone has all the answers.

The conversation will be co-hosted by Vicki Wu and Wendy Harper, Business Women Australia leaders, who will guide an interactive and reflective discussion around one central question: What can AI support, and what must leaders still hold?

You'll leave with new perspectives, practical ideas from your peers, and an opportunity to consider: As AI continues to evolve, what distinctly human capability do I want to strengthen in my own leadership?
