WHAT TO EXPECT

A sunrise at Cooks River offers a peaceful and scenic escape from the city, with tranquil views of the river, surrounding parklands, and wildlife. Early mornings bring a soft golden light that reflects beautifully off the water, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for photography, birdwatching, or simply enjoying nature. The area is quieter and less crowded than other iconic Sydney spots, making it an ideal place for reflection or a calm start to the day. Accessible by public transport or car, it’s a hidden gem where nature and urban life meet, providing a unique and peaceful experience right on Sydney's doorstep.

In short, it’s a peaceful, scenic, and easily accessible location to start your day.

The trail is roughly 6km and should take around 3 hours to complete depending on our pace and we will gather at a cafe afterwards for a coffee.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event. The walk is mostly flat and on concrete footpaths.

This walk is a real showstopper boasting some of the best views Sydney has to offer!
