Flogging is more than impact — it’s rhythm, presence, and the quiet tension that builds between each breath. In this two-part immersive workshop, you’ll explore the sensual and psychological layers of flogging as both a physical practice and a form of intimate communication.

Led by James — a bespoke flogger maker and seasoned coach with over a decade of experience — you’ll begin by learning the fundamentals: how to move with intention, tune into your partner, and build sensation through rhythm and control. Then, you’ll step into a curated kink event, where you’ll be guided in crafting and delivering your own flogging scene — charged with energy, attunement, and connection.

This is a space for those ready to go deeper — beyond mechanics, into the art of creating tension, holding presence, and turning a simple tool into a shared experience.

Part One: Flogging Foundations — Connection Through Impact

This introductory session is where technique meets intimacy. You’ll learn how to hold a flogger with purpose, create rhythm, and tune into your partner’s body and breath. Through practice and guided play, you’ll explore how to build tension, trust, and anticipation — the heart of powerful flogging.

No partner needed. Just bring curiosity, presence, and your desire to connect.

Part Two: The Scene — Ritual, Rhythm & Release

In this immersive second session, you’ll take your skills into a curated kink event. With James by your side, you’ll shape a flogging scene from intention to execution — focusing on the emotional arc, energy exchange, and embodied presence required to create a transformative experience.

This is not just about technique — it’s about crafting connection in public play, and holding space with confidence.

Attendance at Part One or previous experience with flogging is required. Please bring your partner (if you have one).

WHERE? NEW SOUTH WALES / A Space in Sydney - Annandale venue close to PT, exact address provided to ticket holders. 

ACCESSIBILITY: There is a steep flight of stairs with 2 turns up into the workshop space of the venue, please reach out to us if this may be of concern to you so that we can provide more information! Inside the venue there are 3 steps leading down to the hallway to the kichen area, and another 3 steps leading down into the kitchen space which leads to the bathroom.

OUR TICKETING STRUCTURE

We have added a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket, this is an option where you can pay what you can from a baseline amount. There is no upper limit on this ticket, so if you feel like subsidising those who purchase 'lower priced tickets, or giving a little extra to the facilitator to support us, this is your option!

We believe in both accessibility for the community, as well as making sure our facilitators are paid appropriately for their erotic / intellectual labours, so this is our solution to hold space for both with a minimum of fuss!

FACILITATOR:

James is an experienced Dominant, flogging coach, and artisan leatherworker with a decade of hands-on expertise in the kink and BDSM scene. He specializes in teaching flogging as a sensual, connection-driven practice — focusing on rhythm, tension, psychological presence, and physical safety.

His workshops are designed for both newcomers and seasoned players, offering accessible, grounded instruction with an emphasis on partner attunement, emotional depth, and scene structure. He is known for his calm, commanding presence and ability to create immersive, high-trust learning environments.

James also crafts bespoke leather floggers, supplying kink professionals, retailers, and private clients across Australia, the U.S., and Europe.
