A 90 minute workshop covering psychology, safety and style. Suitable for newbies or more advanced players looking to spice up their practise!

Playtime! Spank or be spanked… Try out new techniques, meet some new friends, watch some delightful scenes and enjoy the hilarious sounds of the room!

... A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR APPROACH...

In this workshop we’ll explore the erotic and somatic layers of spanking, both as a dynamic kink practise and bodywork modality.

We’ll discuss various reasons people may seek spanking, how to shape a fulfilling scene for your needs and desires, and safety for tops and bottoms.

As well as traditional erotic kink frameworks on spanking, we’ll dive into somatics, exploring neurodivergence, chronic pain, trauma and energy work.

WHEN? 6pm-9pm, Thursday 6th of November

WHERE? NEW SOUTH WALES / A Space in Sydney. Private Annandale venue close to PT, exact address provided to ticket holders the day before the event with details of parking and transport.

ACCESSIBILITY: There is a steep flight of stairs with 2 turns up into the workshop space of the venue, please reach out to us if this may be of concern to you so that we can provide more information! Inside the venue there are 3 steps leading down to the hallway to the kichen area, and another 3 steps leading down into the kitchen space which leads to the bathroom.

OUR TICKETING STRUCTURE

We have added a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket of $80, this is an option where you can pay what you can from $50. There is no upper limit on this ticket, so if you feel like subsidising those who purchase 'lower priced tickets, or giving a little extra to the facilitator to support us, this is your option!

We believe in both accessibility for the community, as well as making sure our facilitators are paid appropriately for their erotic / intellectual labours, so this is our solution to hold space for both with a minimum of fuss!

FACILITATOR

Eve X is a sexuality educator, pleasure activist and erotic artist with a background in academia and a passion for food, sex, knowledge and nature. Founder of the Australian School of Sexuality and Sacred Primal Arts, Eve has held or hosted hundreds of sex education spaces. She is the curator of the Australian School of Sexuality Festival (ASSFest) and affiliated Erotic Arts Festival.

Eve is an established aerial shibari artist, creating multimodal ritual theatre with life partner Sai Jaiden Lillith as Infernal Desire Machine regularly in Melbourne and Sydney. Eve and Sai are also respected artporn directors, with Canto V films regularly screening at film festivals globally.

Eve lives, creates, and holds events in both Melbourne and Sydney, and is co-owner of A Space in Sydney.
