    Event description

Urban Agriculture Forum x Community Gardens Australia Gathering 2023 - City Farms Cycling Tour

Get fit and active with this fabulous cycling tour we have created for you!

Arriving at NCIE you will collect your courtesy Lime bike* and get an induction on how to operate them.

Then, starting with Sydney City Farm, we will head off on a tour that will highlight modern urban agricultural practise in the heart of one of the world's great cities. From Sydney City Farm we cycle to Pocket City Farms for a tour, followed by lunch, and then on to Camdonville Paddock Community Garden.

Your cycling tour guides will also ride by other gardens and spaces of interest throughout the tour and talk to you about sustainability in our cities and how cycling can benefit not just yourself but also the planet. Lunch and snacks included.

*Note: you will need to download the Lime app for this tour so you can operate the bikes and will need to input payment details to make it work. However, there will be NO CHARGE for using the Lime bike on this tour.

Sustain and Community Gardens Australia are able to offer this Cycling Tour at a discounted rate thanks to a generous donation from Pedal Set Go.

Pedal Set Go is a purposeful and practical urban bicycle training provider.  We are dedicated to teaching people of all ages and backgrounds how to ride bikes confidently and safely in the city. We offer a range of courses, including learn-to-ride, on-road training, maintenance, and team-building programmes. Pedal Set Go aims to nurture & grow a diverse community where riding bikes is a fun and normal way to connect people to places.  As a proudly female-founded business, we lead by example, championing inclusivity in the industry and working to make urban mobility equitable for all.

Thanks to our fab sponsors for this tour
