Dive into the mystical realms of nature with the Sydney University Musical Society (SUMS) as we proudly present "Sea Stories and Moonpoems." This unforgettable concert will take you on a journey through the vast oceans and the quiet wonder of moonlit nights, weaving together captivating stories of the sea, sky, and earth.

Join us for a magical evening featuring a stunning selection of choral pieces that tell stories about the moonlit nights and deep blue oceans. Hungarian music takes the spotlight as we present works by György Orbán, as well as Árpád Tóth’s Three Moonpoems. The nocturnal theme shines on with Samuel Barber's Sure on this Shining Night and Clara Schumann's Abendfeier in Venedig. You'll also be swept away by Trees of Blue, written by our 2024 Composition Competition winner Max Charles.
