Symphoria - Legends and Landscapes
Event description
Symphoria: Legends and Landscapes
Join Symphoria and special guests JAMBO (St Peters Old Scholar percussion trio) for an enjoyable evening of music that journeys through storm, soul, and storytelling.
From Tchaikovsky’s haunting Elegie to the windswept beauty of Bantock’s Scenes from Scottish Highlands, the program explores landscapes both real and imagined. Contemporary works by Vision String Quartet and Matt Riley bring fresh energy and colour, while Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre, Vivaldi’s fiery Summer, and Rossini’s iconic William Tell Overture will have the hall alive with rhythm and drama.
Experience the power of strings and percussion in motion — one night only.
