Description
During his long career at the National Gallery of Victoria, Terence Lane was instrumental in shaping the collection. He also played a significant role in heritage conservation, consulting on the restoration of several important historic houses. Embodying the idea of the scholar-curator, Lane was widely esteemed for his unparalleled knowledge of art and design.
Symposium speakers include Tim Bonyhady, James Broadbent, Alisa Bunbury, Jane Clark, Amanda Dunsmore, Kirsty Grant, Alison Inglis, Matthew Martin, Christopher Menz, Diana Morgan, Michael Varcoe-Cocks and Gerard Vaughan.
