Join us for an exciting event designed to give you firsthand insights into careers in international studies. This is a unique opportunity to demystify your career options, gain inspiration and hear practical guidance from real-world perspectives, as you consider your path in international studies.

What to Expect

Panel Discussion (40 minutes): Hear from four professionals working across diverse international fields. They’ll share practical insights, experiences, and advice about navigating careers in global contexts. The panel will include contributions from:

• NSB Cyber

• NSW Fair Trading

• Macquarie University Department of Linguistics

• SoIS alum Jule Wehlte, Corporate Communications Adviser, Australian Red Cross

Industry Booths: Connect directly with representatives from international organizations and industries. This is your chance to ask questions, explore opportunities, and build valuable connections.

Networking with industry: Representatives from a range of organisations will be attending, including:

• Australian Federal Police

• City of Ryde

• NSWPF - Intelligence Operations

• NAATI

• NSW Corrections Intelligence Group
