Systematic reviews aim to bring together evidence to answer a specific research question using a statistical method called meta-analysis. The seminar will begin by describing the key steps in the systematic review process. Next, the principles of meta-analysis will be introduced including explanation of the commonly used fixed-effect and random-effects models. Finally, participants will be introduced to the concept of heterogeneity.
A minimum of 20 participants is required for the session to proceed.
