Systemic Coaching & Constellations - Fundamentals Part I: Mapping The Field- Rescheduled

Lily Seto Coaching and John Whittington present Coaching Constellations Fundamentals Part I: Mapping the Field. Coaching Constellations was established in 2009 by John Whittington and he has been training coaches and other learning and development professionals in systemic coaching with constellations since. 

Mapping the Field 

This two-day introductory training explores the practical application of constellations in personal, professional and team-development coaching. After completing this experiential training, participants will have developed an understanding of systemic awareness and will be equipped to start using it in their coaching. 

The curriculum includes: 

• Mapping – building representational maps that surface the unconscious of the client and the systems they occupy. 
• An introduction to the organising principles that sustain and limit systems 
• Application and practice in one-to-one coaching settings 
• Two exercises to use in team coaching 

The learning is shared through a mix of systemic exercises, constellations and teaching. There are opportunities to practise application in one-to-one coaching, as this is often the most effective place to build understanding and confidence before progressing to application with teams or groups. Many participants have identified this mix of teaching and facilitated experiential learning through constellations as very powerful. 

This course is open to practising professional coaches. Participants are expected to read at least the first four chapters of John’s book ‘Systemic Coaching & Constellations’ in it’s 3rd edition before registering, to ensure this is an area of coaching they want to explore. 

This Fundamentals Part I training awards ICF CCEUs- 8.5 Core and 3.5 Resource Development 

Who Should Attend: Professional Coaches and Coaching Supervisors 

Pre-requisite: Attendees will be expected to have read at least the first four chapters of John’s book ‘Systemic Coaching & Constellations’ in it’s 3rd edition. This will help attendees clarify that this is an area of coaching they want to explore and also prepare them for the depth and breadth of the training experience. 

Attendees will also be invited to join a monthly virtual book club where we will be reading and discussing the book in the months before the training begins.   

The Venue: 

The Coast Victoria Hotel & Marina by APA is located in downtown Victoria on the Waterfront. Refreshments and lunch will be provided each day and discounted rates on hotel rooms will be available. More info will be provided after payment is received. 

Fees: Fees (Cdn dollars) include refreshments and lunch 

• Individually funded- you are paying as a private individual, self-employed or freelance coach: $1650 plus GST   

• Sponsored- you are attending as an in-house coach, facilitator or organization consultant: $2100 plus GST 

Refunds – Available up to 20 days prior to the event. Refund available is the ticket fee paid less the Humanitix fees. Humanitix fees are not refunded. 

John Whittington  Coaching Constellations 

John is the founder of Coaching Constellations and author of ‘Systemic Coaching & Constellations‘, and leads an international teaching faculty of trainers and facilitators who share this approach to coaching. 

He is a systemically-oriented coach and constellations facilitator who is also experienced in facilitating personal issues and family constellations.
