Systems Vaccinology, Talk By Prof. Bali Pulendran
Dr. Bali Pulendran, is a Professor of Pathology and of Microbiology & Immunology at Stanford University School of Medicine. His research explores how the innate immune system regulates adaptive immunity and how this can inform the design of next-generation vaccines. He has pioneered the use of systems biology to predict vaccine efficacy and identify novel correlates of protection. Dr. Pulendran earned his PhD from the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute under Sir Gustav Nossal and has held prestigious roles at Emory University. His work is widely published in top-tier journals and supported by NIH and the Gates Foundation.
