Are you new to Australia and want to see what all the fuss about beaches here is about? 🏖
Are you craving events like the fun field trip you had in high school? 👬👭
Do you want to learn more about beach and ocean safety so you can safely swim in our beautiful water? 🏄♂️
Do you want to visit the world-famous Bondi Beach and take some photos for your social media? 📸
Then this tour is for you!
Join us for a half day tour to walk along the famous coastal walk from Coogee to Bondi Beach, meet students from around the world 🌎 and learn about beach safety🏊♂️ at the same time!
Date: Saturday 7th June 2025 (Saturday, Week 1)
Time: 8:30am to 2:30pm
Meeting location: 8:30AM at UNSW Patricia O'Shane Building Foyer (We will start at UNSW for a Beach Ocean Safety workshop and arrive at Coogee Beach at 11AM. However - please DO NOT meet at Coogee. Attendance at the Beach Ocean Safety workshop is mandatory to join us for the walk.)
What to bring: Water, sunscreen, sun hat, comfortable walking shoes and clothing, snacks etc.
Wet Weather Plan: In the event of wet, or extreme weathers, this event will be postponed by a week. If it still cannot run after week 2, it will be cancelled.
