In 2026, we're offering a short series of new workshops each term, to give Shopfront Young People a taste of some fresh areas of creative expression!

TERM 2: BEGINNERS STAGE COMBAT & STUNTS (ages 11-17)

August 14 - September 4; Fridays 4.30pm - 6pm

Learn how to take a tumble without getting hurt! Led by actor, fight choreographer and professional wrestler Diego Retamales, this Crash Course will teach you the basics of how to look dangerous while being safe as can be. This workshop will help you learn about control, safety and how to work as a team to pull of the great theatrical illusion of violence!

This Crash Course will involve: learning basic rolls and how to land/hit the ground, spacial awareness exercises and learning how to throw a hit safely. If you would like to discuss any safety concerns, please don't hestitate to get in touch.

No previous experience necessary. Whether you're a returning member or new to Shopfront, we are excited to welcome you to our program!
