TABLAO LAB

Raw, intense, up close: flamenco as it’s meant to be felt.

Tablao Lab is a night of dance and live music, performed the way flamenco is traditionally presented. A tablao is an intimate flamenco show where the audience sits close to the dancers, musicians and singers.

In this sixth edition, you’ll experience the exhilarating atmosphere of a tablao, right here in the heart of Sydney. Each solo artist presents new choreographic work, created as part of their professional development with The Sydney Flamenco Studio. You’ll also meet new faces joining our “Cartel,” bringing fresh energy to this “Cuadro Flamenco,” alongside well-established musicians: Zoe Velez (cante), Kieren Ray (guitar) and Byron Mark (percussion).
