Event description

Kia ora Friends and Whanau, October is just around the corner and we are gearing up for a fascinating evening with two of Waiheke's rising art stars... presenting their work and insights/background to their creative practice...

We would like to extend to you the warmest welcome to the next Table talks, featuring: Tracey Sullivan,  a poet, visual artist and creative educator. Since her return to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2019 she has lived and worked on Waiheke Island. Her work responds to the people and place, materials and resources of her immediate environment.

Her table talk considers how this place and people have influenced her practice, process and direction.

And: Louis Flint, An artist born in Auckland whose medium is painting with a focus on the mysticism of the self. Working in a relatively primitive way using chaos and reduction to find an image within the unordered, unorthodox and using flow over thought to create fast energetic imagery.

Talks start at 7:30 with a small break in between, so arrive a little early to secure a seat and share a beverage with our speakers!!

KOHA  $5-10  We appreciate your support to continue to deliver exceptional presentations!
