Event description

Vaping is a serious public health issue for young people aged 25 and under.

And Good Sports clubs have been calling out for information and resources to help protect their members from the associated harms.

Young people really value the opinions of their sports coaches and club volunteers, so we’ve teamed up with VicHealth to help Good Sports clubs across Victoria tackle vaping in your club rooms, around the ground and in your community.

We’re rolling out a training program all about vaping, especially for community sport coaches and volunteers.

This will involve a short workshop for coaches and club operators, followed by a handy kit of practical resources.

The workshop and resources will cover the facts about vaping and why it’s harmful, as well as practical tips for supporting young people in the club to cut back or give up.
