Description
How prepared are you for extreme weather?
Come and play The Adaptation Game (TAG) and find out.
TAG is a facilitated, cooperative board game experience that encourages conversation, connection, and shared learning about climate change and community resilience.
Through guided activities and discussion, you’ll explore how climate change will likely affect your local area over the next 10 years, including flooding, heatwaves, storms, and other extreme weather events.
You’ll also discover practical ways individuals and communities can prepare and adapt for the future.
No special knowledge or gaming experience is needed.
TAG is welcoming, accessible, and designed so everyone can participate comfortably, with friendly facilitators guiding you throughout the session.
Date: Saturday 20 June. 1pm to 5pm
Location: The Port Phillip EcoCentre, 55A Blessington St, St. Kilda
Afternoon tea provided
Accessibility: Please enter the Port Phillip EcoCentre via the Herbert Street main entrance. The venue is easily accessible by public transport. The workshop will be held indoors on the ground floor in an air-conditioned-heated room with tables and chairs. Accessible parking is available on Blessington Street and an accessible toilet is on site.
