    THE ADAPTATION GAME

    A Merri-bek Climate Drill

Have fun, meet others, and prepare for climate change in our community

    Saturday December 3rd, 2022

    10am to 2pm, lunch provided

    Glenroy Community Hub

50 Wheatsheaf Rd, Glenroy VIC 3046

TAG: The Adaptation Game is a playful workshop for Merri bek residents to connect & help prepare our community to be more resilient for climate change.

In TAG you and your fellow players will play through scenarios of disasters caused by climate change. You will test your own preparedness and try out realistic options for how to be better prepared in the future.

TAG is based on real science about how climate change will affect Merri-bek. You get to play out real world ways to prepare and protect your home, family, community, and environment. TAG will help you connect what you enjoy, and what you are good at, with what needs doing. Everyone counts. No act is too small, no idea is too big.

Come for the game, stay for the connections, and learn how you can make a meaningful contribution to your community’s resilience. Lunch will be provided.

The Adaption Game is starting with Merri-bek residents, especially those living in Glenroy.

Spaces are limited. If spots run out, we’ll tell you as future sessions take place.
