An electronic identification (eID) workshop aimed at supporting small sheep producers to understand their roles and responsibilities for eID in sheep.

Event details:

Join Riverina Local Land Services for an informative evening that will provide small landholders and hobby farmers with small numbers of sheep and goats with an update on:

the basics of landholder eID requirements with the incoming changes
an animal health update from our local district vets
an update on the Climate Smart Ag program
plus, a home butchery demonstration for those looking to learn how to become more self-sufficient.

Producers should consider attending to help ensure they understand and meet their general biosecurity duty requirements, avoid compliance action and contribute to effective traceability and animal health outcomes in Australia. Whether you have one pet sheep or goat, are new to owning ruminants or wanting to improve your understanding of the animal traceability system in SW, this event is for you!
