You're invited to join with activists around the world to make a stand for peace in Israel.

Women Wage Peace, the largest civil society movement in Israel, which involves a deep collaboration of Israeli and Palestinian women, has asked us to make a 20 second video supporting their call for peace.

What you need to do:

Come online at 6pm Sunday 19th September (You'll be send the Zoom link 24 hours beforehand)
Wear a white top with a turquoise scarf or accessory.
Smile, raise your hand and look like peace is important to you.
Give us permission to record a 20 second video from us together that we can share internationally

The voice accompanying the video will state: "The women of NCJWA Australia stand with our Israeli and Palestinian sisters. We support the mothers’ pact, made so that future generations may live in peace and know hope and opportunity."

The ‘mothers’ pact’ is the pact from both Israeli and Palestinian women demanding from their respective leaderships that they get together and make peace with each other within the year. We will be at the site where we want them to meet - on the Dead Sea - on 22nd September and the tent will be open for them from that time.

We will be together for 10-15 minutes. We can guarantee that the call will have ended well before 6.30pm.
