This Brave Heart. This Deadly Heart...
We are inviting you into a story and while it is our story, it is mostly Skout's story and how his brave heart led our family on a journey to learn of a deadly heart story that just might be one of our Country's biggest, most shameful health issues.
Please join us as we work to champion change and share the story of the documentary/film-led advocacy TAKE HEART.DEADLY HEART and the debilitating effects ARF [acute rheumatic fever] and RHD [rheumatic heart disease] is having on Aboriginal children and families in remote communities in Australia.
Taking care of one another is at the very heart of what community is and with two [2] Aboriginal children dying each week from RHD we need a call to government and a huge shift in how health systems work across remote Australia.
We need to support the community-led services that will help prevent ARF & RHD and keep families strong together. Please join us, a collective empathy is needed now more than ever before!
100% of funds raised from ticket sales, donations and silent auction items will be donated to RHDA & Take Heart campaign.
