    TAKE THE PRESSURE DOWN


    A FREE event for Bega Valley young people, designed to demystify careers in the arts and calm nerves about what's next. 

    We know making choices about your future can feel super daunting, we hope TAKE THE PRESSURE DOWN will be an inspiring, relaxed experience to get you thinking about your future in creative ways. 

    Local young people and their families get a chance to hear from a range of amazing artists in our community about how they built their careers, with a chance to ask the artists questions. 

    This is a FREE event with FOOD provided.

    Guest Speaker Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia joins us to share his story of activism, community engagement and television.

    TAKE THE PRESSURE DOWN is part of FLING's Youth Development Project aiming to bring young people in contact with professional artists to hear stories of how they transitioned away from high school and forged their careers. 

    Supported by The Family Place, The Kindred Collective, Campbell Page, Create NSW and the NSW Department of Education.

    Costa's 2024 Regional Tour has been convened by Eat Dirt Permaculture.
