Join Community Resource Unit (CRU) and Outback Independent Living for this free workshop designed for people with disability, families, and anyone who supports them.
What you’ll learn:
What a “good life” looks like for people with disability
Why having a positive vision matters – and how to create one
How the history of disability in Australia shapes our world today
The value of “ordinary and typical” community opportunities
How to balance informal and formal supports
How families can use their natural authority
Practical strategies to “bring others in” and create lasting support networks
