Annie Bourgault is a parent of homeschoolers and a passionate advocate of lifeschooling. She helps parents develop trust in themselves and their children, transforming their perception of what education can be.

Some of the topics covered in the 1hr talk:

- How to get started with homeschool in WA.

- Overview of homeschooling: history, trends, and its relevance today.

- Reasons why parents choose homeschooling in 2024.

- Legalities and regulations: understanding the legal requirements.

- Main Homeschool and Facebook groups to join in the SouthWest.

- Why homeschooling can be the best way to cater for a child’s needs and interests and how to do it.

- What is unschooling? Lifeschooling? World schooling? Deschooling?

This and more to be followed by a 60 minute Q&A.

Tea and coffee will be served at the end. The final hour is just an opportunity for us all to have a cuppa and a chat - get to know our community.
