Taking Time is an immersive mini-exhibition by First Nations artist and PhD candidate Kat Bell, designed to encourage reflection on our relationships with land, time, and storytelling. Blending traditional cultural narratives with digital media—including augmented reality, moving images, and interactive installations—the exhibition invites audiences to engage with shifting landscapes, silent visual stories, and layered artefacts that challenge colonial interpretations. Inspired by MOD.’s FOREVER exhibition exploring our perception time and the NAIDOC theme “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision, Legacy,” Taking Time explores how stories from the past, present, and future can shape our understanding and guide the legacy we leave. This exhibition forms part of Bell’s research into how digital technologies can support the sharing and preservation of First Nations stories in transformative ways.
The Exhibition will be open 10am - 5pm, Tuesday 8th July - Saturday 12th July in the MOD. Studio's situated on Level 1, Bradley Building, North Terrace, Adelaide.
