Join NAWIC BOP on this exciting site visit looking at an epic civil construction project in the Bay of Plenty - the Takitimu North Link Project!
The Takitimu North Link Project is a 6.8km four-lane expressway being constructed in Tauranga - starting in the city at 15th Ave and connecting into the existing SH2 in Te Puna near Loop Road. With over 3,000,000 cubic meters of material to move and 8 bridges to be built, this is the largest project in the Bay of Plenty Region. Set for completion in late 2027, come and meet some of the females that we have constructing this project.
DATE & TIME: Thursday 14th of March, 2024
MEET AT: 635 State Highway 2, Rd 6, Te Puna, Tauranga
COST: $5 for NAWIC members (Note: this event is limited to 20 people so please book your space consciously).
PPE REQUIREMENTS: Long Sleeves, Long Pants, Steel Cap Lace up boots, Safety Glasses, Hard hat and hi viz vest.
