Tales from the Rails - Rolex Sydney Hobart 2024 

With another epic edition of the Great Race completed, join us for dinner on at 1900hrs on Thursday 20 February at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia to hear stories from sailors on the rail, experiencing the race first hand.

Live panel

  • Sean Langman - Kismet (Smallest competing yacht, that also raced double-handed and won the Plum Crazy Trophy - also representing CYCA at Admirals Cup)
  • Emmanuella Noble - Chancellor (Emmanuella raced in her first Hobart)
  • Jack Macartney - Celestial V70 (Sailing master, Tattersall Cup winner)
  • Clare Costanzo - Whisper (Navigator)

2 course dinner with 3 hour beverage package:

    Main - alternate serve

    • BBQ beef short rib, hoisin glaze, shredded vegetable salad, sesame, wasabi dressing (DF, GF)
    • Baked Ocean Trout brown butter, capers, snow peas (GF)

    Dessert - alternate serve

    • Chocolate dome, caramel mousse, cocoa soil, freeze dried mandarin
    • Lemon meringue tart, cultured cream
