Tales In Clay
Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education
 Portland OR, United States
Event description
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to create painted clay relief sculptures inspired by personal storytelling. Each person will develop a small series of two-dimensional clay works that translate narrative into texture, color, and form. We will explore different ceramic techniques to build and paint images on the clay surface. Stories may draw from personal memories, mythological themes, or dream imagery, weaving together the real and the imagined. No previous knowledge or experience is required.
