    Event description

We don't need more "instant success" stories.

Small business owners aren't making enough money.

We're all thinking about, talking about it and wanting more of it.

So we're going to do the "un-polite" thing and start an open, honest and considered conversation about money.

Leading the charge and sharing their unconventional 'money' stories will be:

    - Bianca Marics @bianca_marics_naturopath/ is a Naturopath, and certified Life and Stress coach. Ever wondered what the real cost of burnout is to a Founder? It's probably more than you think and Bianca will be touching on how financial stress contributes to burnout for leaders and entrepreneurs.  Bianca will also be sharing of her own experience with burnout and the seen and unseen cost of chronic stress in business and why it's so important to be the CEO of your health and break out of the 'burnout, re-charge, burnout cycle' once and for all.

    - Yolanda Finette @yolandafinette/ is a certified, award-winning holistic life coach, counsellor, & wellbeing practitioner whose practice honours identity, sovereignty & reconnection. Yolanda will be talking about how our relationship with money is shaped not only by personal experiences, but also by larger societal, historical, and systemic factors. Our 'money story' or our 'money trauma' can play a profound impact on our personal and business journeys and once we are able to understand and acknowledge the root cause, we can begin to heal and rewrite our money blueprints.

    - Silika Baselala @ebonybolts the owner and creator of slow-fashion label Ebony Bolts based in Melbourne. Silika is going to share how her business not only survived but thrived during the pandemic after she saw the need for resuable masks. Silika will also be sharing about how building a business uncovered her understanding of financial inequality, illiteracy and questioning why every other person that started a business has a marketing background.

    - Fi Johnston @peach.business is a business and finance strategist. Fi will be taking the stage to share that in order for business owners and founders to make true change in the world, they must first get comfortable with money. Whether that's making money, asking for money or spending money, Fi believes that not only can you make more of an impact within your communities, but you can be wildly successful when you understand your numbers.

Their stories, insights and practical tips will cover money mindset, managing financial stress, budgeting and investing, and understanding your numbers.

Everything you need to get comfortable taking about, asking for and making more money in your business.

Rachel Kurzyp and Jacqui Maloney cannot wait to welcome you back into the space for this incredible event.

You'll have the opportunity to make new connections and enjoy non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles surrounded by gorgeous greenery on the rooftop garden of the library.
