Join militaria collector, Rohan Goyne, in this Remembrance Day floor talk where he describes Canberra at War in relation to the exhibition, Australia on the Home Front 1939-1945.
Through his extensive collection, Rohan will explore apects of Canberra during WW2 including: the roles of the Optical Munitions Branch on Mt Stromlo, the Minerals Surveys Office in Alinga Street as part of the Manhattan Project, the wartime cabinet under PM John Curtin and the former RAAF Station Gungahlin built during emergency conditions in 1941.
