About the presenter

Neville Turbit has enjoyed a diverse career in engineering, IT, project management and consulting, designing software sold in more than 50 countries. Since retiring, he has taken on numerous volunteer roles, including with the Australian National Maritime Museum and an international ISO Project Management committee. A passionate sailor and historian, Neville has written about his fascinating ancestors—including Aboriginal Bungaree and First Fleet sailor Peter Hibbs—and is now writing a historical novel about early Australia.
