Join Candice Care-Unger, Social Worker and Psychosexual Therapist from Care Rehab, for this opportunity to learn how to bring up sexuality in rehabilitation and disability settings and ensure your clients don't have an unmet sexual need because we haven't been willing to bring up the topic.

This session will allow you to:

- Define sexuality and have a broad understanding of common sexual difficulties

- Understand the role of a Psychosexual therapist

- Explain the PLISSIT model and what that means for you as a clinician

- Develop a language for you to bring up the topic of sexuality in your work

- Understand how to get sexuality goals into an NDIS plan

About the presenter

Candice Care-Unger (she/her) has a dual professional background. Candice is an experienced specialist social worker with a demonstrated history of working in hospital & community Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation settings for the past 18 years across Sydney, Rural NSW, Brisbane, Scotland and New York. Candice is also a qualified Sexologist and member of the Society of Australian Sexologists.

Candice has post graduate qualifications in sexual health and reproduction, a Masters in Public Health and a Bachelor of Social Work from University of Sydney.

Candice is located in Sydney NSW, however provides virtual services across Australia.
