Talking Rubbish Workshop

Confused about what can go in your Council Organics bin? Confused about the current state of plastic recycling? Want to vent frustrations, meet like minded people and learn ways to reduce waste? Come to this workshop!! 

We will go through common household waste items and discuss what they are made of, what bin they go in, how you can avoid them and what sustainable alternatives you can replace them with. Bring your questions (or rubbish!).

The purpose of this workshop is to explore environmental concepts beyond just waste, such as how we can redesign systems to reduce at the source, build sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11) and be responsible consumers (SDG12).
