TALKING SHOP: Renew your brand identity
Event description
Is your brand working hard, or hardly working?
Or maybe it doesn’t exist at all yet – and that’s okay!
Join us to hear from some of Adelaide’s most creative voices, as we unpack the art of building a brand that’s more slay than nay.
This is the first in Renew Adelaide’s new Talking Shop series – a curated suite of events designed to arm small businesses and creatives with tips, tricks, inspo and knowledge (because knowledge = power)!
Join us for a panel discussion about what makes an excellent brand and how to establish one of your own, led by our expert panel of local branding royalty.
Here’s what we’ll be unpacking:
What makes a good brand (and what doesn’t)
How to develop a genuinely unique brand that cuts through
Building on authenticity vs chasing your tail around trends
What to do if your brand ain’t branding :(
Real-world stories from small businesses just like you!
You’ll be hearing from:
Bella McCrae – Creative Director, Divide
Emily Hart and Margot Lloyd – Directors, Pink Shorts Press
Tom Oswald – Founder, Homeboy
This event is open to small businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs in any industry, whether it’s retail, hospitality, the arts, health and wellness – you name it!
We’re also really excited to host our first of many events at the cosy Pulteney Street oasis that is Some Where House – big shout-out to the team for letting us take over their gorgeous venue for the evening.
There’ll be plenty of time for audience questions after the panel, but if you’d like to sneak a question in ahead of time, we've provided a field for you to drop it into your ticket registration!
