FAQs
- Do I have to get tickets, or can I just show up on the day?
No, you don't have to get tickets in advance. Admission is free, and you can just show up on the day. BUT, if you do register by 'purchasing' tickets, you get a friendly email reminder of the event beforehand so you don't miss it!
- How much does it cost?
General admission is free! However, we're a charitable trust run by volunteers. If you'd like to support us and contribute to future festivals, purchase a Supporter ticket for any amount you'd like! Pay more than $10 on your Supporter ticket, show it at the door, and get a festival tote bag!

We will be running workshops for budding authors and illustrators (from ages 8-adult) on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September. Check Tamariki Book Festival's other events on Humanitix for information about workshops.
