Join us for an education day focussing on Oral Cavity cancer, and Head and Neck cancer Allied Health Support, hosted by Dr Samuel Roberts and Dr Leba Sarkis.

Morning Session: Oral Cavity Cancer

  • Suspicious lesions of the oral cavity
  • Surgical management of oral cavity cancer

Afternoon Session: Head and Neck Allied Health Session

  • How Allied Health support Head and Neck surgical patients 
  • Speech pathologist - Speech and swallowing management for patients with Head and Neck cancer
  • Dietitian - Nutrition considerations for rural Australians with Head and Neck cancer
  • Regional H&N Nurse specialist - Patient journeys and support provided
  • Research fellow - Research to improve outcomes for rural Australians with Head and Neck cancer: the "Chris O'Brien Lifehouse experience"
