Adrenaline and storytelling collide in Country/Rockabilly artist Owen Smith. His style is playful and driving, ranging from comedy bush ballads right through to punchy rockabilly. You may have heard him on ABC's Saturday Night Country, Australian Country Radio, Apple Music editorials or on your local radio station.

Owen graduated from the CMAA Academy of Country Music in 2024 and is a grand finalist for the Australian National Busking Championships (2023, 2024). He released his debut EP, The Snowies, in 2024 featuring radio hit That Old Hills Hoist and his high energy debut single Wild Wild Weather. His hilarious new single, Upper Class Bogan, features Matt Scullion and charted at #7 on the Australian Country Radio Charts.

A prolific songwriter, Owen was nominated for CCMA New Songwriter of the Year and ASA Australian song of the year in 2023. He has co-written with the likes of Lyn Bowtell, Lachlan Bryan, Kaitlyn Thomas, Matt Scullion, Carter & Carter, Della Harris, and Allan Caswell.
