MEET THE TEAM

Josh Butt, Chief Production Officer, Ampel

Josh is an award-winning content creator of podcasts, TV, TVCs, audio ads, short films, and video content with 25+ years of experience and an insatiable need to entertain and connect with the audience’s eardrums and eyeballs. With a great ear for a sonic logo or a funny script, Josh has consistently created and produced work that moves an audience to take action or have a laugh.

Some notable credits include Podcasts - Criminal Domain, Modern Babies, The Next Billion Seconds with Mark Pesce, The Swab with Georgie Carroll; TV shows Air Rescue (with Fredbird Entertainment, MediaCom, 7), Firies (Mediacom, Duracell, Endemol / Channel 10), and Waltzing Jimeoin (Ampel, Humerus / Channel 10).

Some award wins along the way: Best Podcast 2017 & HC 2021 Mumbrella Publish; Festival of Media Asia 2015 &2016, BE Fest Content Marketing Agency of The Year, 2014 One Show Silver Pencil, 2014 & a 2015 Cristal award, Tropfest finalist 2010;

Josh previously worked at MediaCom, Storylab, ABC, Fairfax, and Triple M and taught for many years at AFTRS. A VCA and Monash Business school graduate, Josh is a past participant of The Observership Program, was a board member of Co-Curious / Curious Works, and currently sits on the Create NSW Multi Arts Board.
