Tantric Hatha Yoga
Description
Seasonal Tantric Hatha at the Art Sanctuary
Tantric Hatha is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on energy and awareness. This monthly class brings it to life through the lens of the seasons.
Guided by the Ayurvedic principle of Ritucharya, each practice is adapted to the time of year, since our bodies and minds naturally change as the seasons do.
Classes combine gentle dynamic movement, steady holds and conscious breathing, with mudras, mantra and bandhas (energy locks) used to focus and direct energy.
Every session builds toward pranayama breathwork and seated meditation.
The result is a calmer nervous system, greater body awareness and sense of connectedness and a practice that supports you all year round.
Everyone is welcome. No experience needed.

About your facilitator
Laetitia is a Tantric Hatha and mat Pilates teacher and Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant. She has practised yoga for over two decades, trained in India before beginning to teach and has since deepened her study through a 300-hour training in Tantric Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda, alongside trauma-informed yoga and Ayurvedic lifestyle medicine and bodywork.
To her, Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra are one living wisdom, each pointing back to the others and together they offer a way home to our true nature and a deeper intimacy with Life.
Her classes are grounded and intentional. She works with the body's strength and structure, and just as much with its subtleties, guided by Ayurveda's understanding of seasons and cycles. At the heart of her teaching is a simple truth: we were never separate from the natural world, only ever an expression of it. So her classes slow down when slowness is called for and build strength when strength is needed. They stay simple and steady throughout, built on trust in the body's own intelligence.
Alongside teaching, she offers 1:1 Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations through her practice, The Seasons Within. Away from the mat you'll find her cooking far too much delicious food, tending her medicinal plants or losing herself in a new craft or a good book.
