Tantrum's 50th birthday: party + performance

Come celebrate 50 years of Tantrum making bold, original theatre! Be entertained by new short plays, created and performed by our young people! Revel in party food, great music, and a beautiful community 50 years in the making! All welcome!

Enjoy the whole party, or just come for your performance group; it's up to you. We have designed this event so that all young people can participate in both their performance AND the party (as both elements are important).*

Date: Saturday 5 December
Time: 12pm to 4pm (see timings below)
Doors open: 11:45pm
Venue: The Place, Charlestown Community Centre
Address: Corner of Frederick and Pearson Sts, Charlestown
Cost: $20 per adult, $10 per young person (under 30)

12pm - 1pm | Plays by young people from our Rathmines and Charlestown workshops

1pm - 2pm | Cake, party food, music, celebration

2:30pm - 4pm | Plays by young people from our Hamilton workshops, and by Accelerate Ensemble

4pm | the party's over <3

Your ticket covers entry, party food and drinks.

All tickets are general admission. There is no set seating. Seats will be filled from the front. Doors open at 11:45pm.


*E.g. If you're from the Rathmines/Charlestown group, come for your performance and stay for the party (12pm to 2:30pm). If you're from a Hamilton/Accelerate group, come for the party and stay for your performance (1pm to 4pm).
