Tanya Ransom & Adele Oliver w' Abigail Wighton
Event description
Two powerful voices from Western Australia’s folk-country scene, Tanya Ransom and Adele Oliver, bring their double headline tour to The Gasoline Pony for an unforgettable night of live original music.
Fresh off the release of her third solo album The Significance of Time (out 26th September), Tanya Ransom (Margaret River/Wadandi Boodja) delivers evocative, genre-blending songs that traverse contemporary folk, blues and Americana. Her track Winter Song was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and received an Honourable Mention in the Americana category.
Joining Tanya is Kimberley alt-country artist Adele Oliver (Broome/Djugun & Yawuru), whose earthy vocals and honest songwriting have fast-tracked her rise with WA’s country music landscape. Her 2024 EP To Home and Heartbreak earned national airplay, with lead single Wiley Blue debuting at #24 on the Country Songs Top 40 Australian Airplay chart and winning WA’s ‘Songwriter of the Year.’
Joining Adele & Tanya is local favourite Abigail Wighton, Sydney-based singer-songwriter whose honest and intimate songs explore love, loss and the human condition. With recent showcases at the 2024 and 2025 National Folk Festival and radio play on ABC’s Saturday Night Country, Abigail is a talent on the rise.
