Taos NM, United States
Description
John Logan’s “Red” is a Tony award winning biographical play exploring the intense, two-year relationship between renowned abstract expressionist, Mark Rothko and his young assistant Ken. Taking place in the late 1950s the play is a deep and often explosive portrayal of the artistic and personal struggles Rothko faces as he confronts the tension between creative integrity and commercial demands. This Taos Players production features David Garver and Julian Collignon and is directed by Jane Ayles and Pamela Parker.
