WHAT: The Animation Project (TAP) Animation Storytelling Group

  • Work as a team to produce an original, computer animated video

  • Explore professional 2D computer animation software

  • Explore story development and production 

  • Explore new education and career options

  • Celebrate your film with a public screening of the animation

WHEN: Thursdays, October 2nd-December 18th, 4:00-5:30pm

ELIGIBILITY: 15-24 years old and a resident of NYC

No animation experience necessary

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

  • By securing a ticket to this event, you are committing to attending the entire cycle.

  • You MUST attend the first session after receiving your ticket.

  • If you miss the first session after receiving their ticket, your ticket will be cancelled and your spot will be released to someone on the waitlist.

  • Spots are limited. If this event sells out, join the waitlist! If a spot opens up, we will notify you as soon as possible.

  • If you register, but can no longer attend, please email danielle@theanimationproject.org so your spot can be given to someone on the waitlist.

WAITLIST INFO

  • If the event is sold out, but a spot opens up due to a cancellation, the first person on the waitlist will automatically be notified via email. That person will then have 30 minutes to claim their ticket. If they do not claim their ticket within 30 minutes, the next person on the waitlist will be notified, and so forth, until the ticket is claimed.

  • If you are notified to claim your ticket, and you go to do so but see that the event is sold out, it's likely that the ticket was claimed by the next person on the waitlist. You may sign the waitlist again.
