TAP-NY Cooking Workshop - Chicken Rolls (雞捲)
Event description
Join TAP-NY in learning how to make ji juan (雞捲), or ground pork rolls (definitely a misnomer since the direct translation means chicken rolls)! This is a classic Taiwanese street snack that you can find at places that sell lu rou fan! It's a deep fried roll made of ground pork, onions, and other ingredients usually paired with this sweet and savory red sauce!
Our favorite Taiwanese “A-yi” will be leading this class, so come out for a fun morning of a cooking demo, meeting new people, and most importantly, eating!
This cooking workshop will be held in Astoria (~30min from midtown).
