Registering for the Event

Starting May 2026, all TAP-NY event attendees must fill out the Member Intake Form. You must complete the Member Intake Form in order to attend the event, even if you have registered through Humanitix.

Join TAP-NY in learning how to make two styles of mooncakes!

Learn how to make Snowy Skin Mooncake (冰皮月餅), a soft and chewy mochi-like mooncake served chilled, and Red Bean Mooncake (豆沙月餅), a classic mooncake filled with smooth, sweet red bean paste.

Come celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) early with us!

Our favorite Taiwanese “A-ma” will be leading this class, so come out for a fun morning of a cooking demo, meeting new people, and most importantly, eating!

Please note: the cooking workshop is group-effort and individual stations will not be provided. The amount of hands-on cooking will vary depending on the dish.

This cooking workshop will be held in Astoria (~30min from midtown). Please be aware that the cooking portion may take at least 2 hours so if you leave early, you may be unable to eat the final product.

We require all attendees to be fully vaccinated, meaning the attendee has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.
