Boba & Boogie: Beginner Dance Workshop with TAP-NY x Dance Social Club

Join TAP-NY and Dance Social Club (DSC) for Boba & Boogie, a fun and beginner-friendly dance workshop that blends movement, music, and mingling — no experience needed!

Led by Nina (@notedbyneen), a passionate NYC-based dancer and founder of DSC, this two-hour session will guide you through warm-ups, foundational grooves, and simple choreography set to music by Taiwanese and Taiwanese American artists. You’ll also get to perform in small groups, cheer each other on, and meet new friends along the way!

To keep your energy up, we’ll be serving complimentary boba or tea (while supplies last) — because what’s better than dancing and sipping something sweet?

Whether you’ve never danced before or you’re just looking to shake off the Sunday scaries, this is your space to explore movement, build confidence, and connect with community.

All levels welcome — come as you are, and boogie with us!

3:00 PM – Arrivals + boba + mingling
3:15 PM – Stretch + warm-up
3:25 PM – Foundation dance drills
3:40 PM – Choreo drills
4:00 PM – Learn full choreography
4:30 PM – Group performances
4:50 PM – Social wrap-up + vibes
