TAPE IT! 2652
PRESENTED BY ARTIST BRIONY BARR

Imagine a drawing that has become bored of paper and wandered off the page in search of new adventure. . . Welcome to TAPE IT! 2652.

Over two days of the Autumn school holidays, we will be experimenting with expanded, collaborative drawing, using colourful Washi tape to draw on the floor and walls of the Tarcutta Memorial Hall!

TAPE IT! 2652 will feature both free-drawing areas and rule-based regions. And on the last session of the installation, the un-drawing stage will begin! Participants will be invited to create new objects and sculptures out of ripped up tape and recycled cardboard. . . Sometimes deconstruction is just another stage of the creative process!
