TARANTA DANCE SERIES - Term 3 - 2024

ANFE is excited to launch Term 3 of TARANTA DANCE classes for 2024.

Starting on Wednesday, 24 July 2024 at 6.30pm at ANFE Italian Club, TARANTA DANCE is a new innovative way to get fit and learn Italian culture.

Learn the the steps, the history and myths of the traditional Pizzica dance from Puglia, the Tarantella from Sicily or the Tammurriata from Campania.

All classes will be taught by Anna Cerreto from TARANTA MEANJIN.

Anna is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer and studied at the Melbourne School of Tarantella. She will take you through the rhythmic dance steps of these ancient Southern Italian folk dances.

All classes will be held at ANFE Italian Club, 10 Wyandra Street, Newstead Qld 4006 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

What to wear and what to bring:

Please bring your own BYO water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. If you have dance shoes, please bring them. Classes will be in an aircondtioned space at ANFE Italian Club.

How to enrol:

To secure your place, please click on "Tickets" and select the date of the class you wish to attend. You must complete all information on the Registration form. If you wish to purchase more than one ticket, please select the number of tickets you wish to purchase and follow the prompts to insert the other names.
