A creative night of colour, symbolism, and intuitive fun @ Qirkz in the Hunter

Tarot cards have been used for centuries to spark insight and reflection — but on this special evening, they’ll also spark your creativity.

At this relaxed art night, you’ll choose a tarot card that speaks to you — either a favourite or one drawn at random — and explore its meaning while you paint a stunning mini artwork inspired by it.

You’ll be working with acrylic paints on a small canvas (about the size of your hand) — a perfectly manageable format that’s ideal for layering colour and detail without overwhelm. Templates are provided to make things easy, so there’s no pressure to draw from scratch. Just settle in, sip your drink, and enjoy the process of bringing your card to life in your own style.

Your teaching artist: Emmie, owner of Wild Learning

Emmie has managed to combine a deep love of art, sewing, singing, flamingos and all things gold into a career as an artist, community arts worker and owner of creative studio Wild Learning. Her teaching style is big on generating creative energy and helping people find their own unique art experience. With a focus on a warm, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, absolute beginners and experienced creatives find Emmie's classes like a soft place to land in a world that sometimes feels too spikey.
